Hi!
This week on Friday, Logan and I have our 20 week doctors appointment and ultrasound. We are really looking forward to seeing our baby for the first time!! Although we have not made an in-stone decision of whether or not to find out what we are having, we think we probably will...
Ahhh, it is a hard choice to make!!
Logan's brother Joe and his wife Carly are finding out what they are having today!! (Logan and I have bets on it...I placed my money on that they are having a girl. I don't know why, but I have just had a 'feeling'.) We will get to find out TONIGHT!!---FUN!
Hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween yesterday. We had 88 Trick or Treaters. It was my favorite Halloween yet!! So fun to see the cute costumes and how excited the kids are to be out--getting CANDY!
That's it for now. Have a good one!

I (think) I can...
Feel our baby moving that is!!! To me the movement feels like a catipillar crawling on your skin...one of those soft, fuzzy, 'cute' catipillars!!
YIPEE!! These little things are BIG things in my life right now!!!
Stay tuned, belly picture coming soon. :)
love,

I heart the Heartbeat...
As a Mom-to-be, could there be a better sound than your baby's heartbeat? I don't think so!! It is like music to my ears. Logan and I heard our little ones heart beating again last Friday. The heart rate was 154 beats per minute (amazing...) this is interesting because the first time it was 172 bpm!! Quite a bit slower this time around!!
There is speculation that a quicker heartbeat indicates a girl, and a slower heart rate indicates that the baby is a boy. I am a little skeptical of this school of thought. If it is true, then our baby must have started out a girl, and then 4 weeks later turned into a boy ;)
Logan and I are contempalting whether or not to find out the sex of our baby! What do you think? Should we find out? Should we wait? Did you find out with your babies?

OUR 'growing' FAMILY
Hi guys,
I am officially the world's worst Blogger. Is there anyone left, still checking my blog?? I should just fold and shut this baby down, but I LOVE reading the blogs in my blog feed (especially my Sister-in-law Carly's!!--who is putting on the pressure this week!) :)Carly is the reason I got a blog in the first place, she makes it look so easy and fun!! But, up to this point I have had a really hard time finding things to write about on my blog, as my life is pretty routine (sleep, work, cook, eat, clean a little, you get the point) UNTIL NOW!!! Logan and I are PREGNANT!!!! And, we couldn't be more excited! We have been married for 2 years in July, and decided it was a good time to start trying to start a family! Well, it worked...
Now that that's out there, I have no reason not to blog right?? Hopefully!!
Anyway, we are going to be 15 weeks along on Sunday. I am finally (knock on wood) starting to feel better. I am still incredibly tired, and wonder at times how many hours of sleep in a day it would take to make this exhaustion GO AWAY!--I am thinking I could sleep 24 hours, and still be tired. (Making a baby-- a real live baby-- is TOUGH work!) I guess maybe I shouldn't question...
Tomorrow Logan and I have our 15 week appointment, and we are really looking forward to hearing the sweet pidder padder of our baby's heartbeat! (I don't think that sound could get old!!) I am also pretty curious to find out how much weight I have gained (am feeling the squeeze in ALL of my work pants!!)
Anyway, I will not make any promises for pictures, but will 'try' to be better about blogging (including the occasional belly shot) , now that I have something to say :)
Thanks for hanging with me...

Weekend Redo
Hey guys,
I am planning to be extra productive this weekend. A few weeks ago I bought a junky looking old stereo console, that I want to turn into a console table for our foyer (I can't bring myself to spend several hundred bucks on a new one.)
I forgot to take pictures of what it looked like when I bought it. Sorry, I barely wanted to touch it (it was full of cobbwebs and dust), let alone photograph it. So here is a picture of it all scrubbed and torn apart.
Please excuse the bad pictures...I tried to take them in our garage...but I think you can at least get the idea of what it looks like (before).
This project has a long way to go...but I feel like I have made at least a little progress. This weekend I need to SAND, make and attach shelves for both sides, prime, dry, sand again, paint, dry, sand again, paint once more, sand again, FINALY POLY, and DRY one more time, then it will hopefully be ready to come into our home (we will see). I will keep you updated on how this goes over the weekend, hopefully the weather cooperates!!
Happy Mother's day to my amazing Mama, and all the Moms out there!!
PS. 2 posts in one day?! Hope you enjoy, it will probably never happen again...hehe

Arizona
Here are a few pictures from our vacation to AZ...the weather was perfect!
I couldn't wait to see the Saguaro Cactus...they were HUGE!! Much bigger than I thought they were going to be.
I made sure Logan and I both stood like the cactus...classic picture! :)
We had tons of fun!

Cream Puffs and Rain
With the kind of weather we have been having (rainy, cloudy, crappy) I get in the mood for comfort foods all over again. It feels like sabatage to my plans to feel comfrotable in a swim suit in just 25 short days. (Arizona...still counting down!)
Anyway, this weekend I had tons of plans to be productive...sand and re-stain a dresser, paint and poly a table a set of chairs for outside, the list goes on. Did I get any of this done? Nope!
Instead I spent most of the weekend inside, reading, watching tv...and baking CREAM PUFFS! YUM! I have never tried making them before, but have been craving something good! So last night, I took a stab at it. They turned out GREAT! I will post a picture later! Logan even had some...and said he LOVED them...a huge suprise for those of you who know Logan!!
Happy baking...even in crappy weather!

Vacation in the winter....
37 days, I have been counting down. Last year the Haskins family went to Cayman Islands in December...
Check out the GORGEOUS water!!! What an amazing time, with great people!!
This year we are all going to Arizona in April...like I said 37 more days. I have been counting down with a paper chain (you know the kind you made when you we in kindergarden for a Christmas tree) I CAN'T WAIT!! Winter in Minnesota has been brutal this year (the 8th snowiest winter in MN history), and we are only in March (our second most snowy month after January). It is snowing, and cold, and gray out as we speak...YUCK!
Looking forward to AZ!!

Blogging
Okay, so maybe blogging is not my thing. I created this blog in the beginning of February promising photos, and here we are in March...still no photos!
I will get better...
Or will I?

FUN with Family
I have never blogged before, but the more I look at others blogs, the more I want to create my own...here goes nothing!!
Logan and I have 3 nephews so far, and love every minute we spend with them!
This last weekend I took pictures of our nephew Ryder. He is going to be 10 months old this month, and is such a sweet little guy! Alway smiling and happy!
Three weeks ago when My mom, sister, and her 2 boys (Cooper and Owen) were at our house for the weekend we had a ton of fun with a tote, and some basic toys...it is amazing to me how children don't need fancy things to be satisfied. We played with/ in that one blue tote for hours!!
I enjoy capturing the moments that are not planned...those are when the real personality shines!!
I will post some pictures soon! Got some really cute ones!
